Coldplay bisa no BritAwards a força do Grammy

Líder de indicações ao BritAwards 2009 ao lado da cantora Duffy, o grupo Coldplay bisa no Oscar da música inglesa o favoritismo perceptível nas indicações ao 51º Grammy Awards, o Oscar da música norte-americana, ao qual o grupo inglês concorre em sete categorias. Tanto Coldplay quanto Duffy receberam, cada, quatro indicações ao BritAwards - a banda por conta do álbum Viva la Vida or Death and All his Friends e cantora por causa de seu primeiro CD, Rockferry. O prêmio que vai ser entregue em 18 de fevereiro de 2009, em Londres, em cerimônia que presta tributo ao duo inglês Pet Shop Boys. Eis os indicados ao BritAwards 2009:
